It is with deep regret that The New Brunswick Competitive Festival of Music, originally planned for April 20 to 29, , has been cancelled by a unanimous decision of the Board. While we had initially hoped that providing the Festival in a virtual manner might be a viable option, the ever-changing situation with regards to COVID has left us with no choice but to cancel. Social responsibility is a tenet o Protecting the well-being of all involved competitors, teachers, accompanists, adjudicators and volunteers is paramount. It is our duty to act in the best interests of everyone involved in the Festival due to the health issue that has become a global pandemic, while also doing our part to promote social distancing. We are aware that the youth participating, their teachers, their families and friends who attend the Festival will be disappointed with this decision. The Festival is a musical highlight for the youth involved.

In fact, you likely will meet a few. I wanted so badly to marry a guy who had recently left the church. People should marry for love, not money. To me, the core question is, is this person inclined toward self transcendence are the inclined, desirous, self aware enough to be selfless. YOUR prayers are just as efficacious as a priesthood holders are. Unfortunately, I can't answer the questions about marrying him etc. I recall reading a talk from Elder Nelson in which he indicated that the church teaches general principles and does not spend time teaching exceptions to general principles.
